  Avoid ALLCHIMNEYS at all costs. They put a flue liner down my chimney for my open fire about 5 years ago, and they used one with an impossibly small diameter, so there was no draw at all and the fire just smoked. The two people that I have had to come out and look at it subsequently have said the job was rubbish, the liner they used wasn't appropriate and it wasn't even fixed properly to the cowl at the top. Worse still, none of the work was registered with HETAS so the work was effectively uncertified - may as well have thrown away £1600. Needless to say, despite numerous attempts to contact Craig (email, telephone, voicemails) he has never got back to me. Total charlatan - do yourself a favour and avoid this company
